MySpace launches 'Indian' version

If your need to socialize online already hasn’t been satiated by the likes of Orkut, Facebook and a plethora of Indian social networks then there is good news!, the eponymous Richard Murdoch-owned social network has launched an India-specific website recently. And with at least another 10 million people on it worldwide you should have no trouble finding someone you fancy.

Myspace has several content channels with the ability to upload music and video particularly popular among its users. Several artists and actors have active Myspace pages with thousands of fans. Will the same happen in India? We must wait and watch. But competitors are gridling their collective loins. Bigadda, an Indian network, immediately responded to the launch by announcing an exclusive Big B blog.
